Information can make the difference between success and failure, if a trade secret is stolen, the competitive playing field is leveled or even tipped in favor of a competitor. Although a lot of information gathering is accomplished legally through competitive intelligence, at times corporations feel the best way to get information is to take it.Economic or industrial espionage is a threat to any business whose livelihood depends on information.

DeleteEspionage is a nice word for spying and spying is a way of not trusting any and everyone around you. It can also cause other people to not trust you. and why don't people just ask if they want to know something. If they said no just deal with it. People don't need to know somethings. And they should not be so noisy.

I disagree with you because it doesn't make people not trust you, you can trust people around you and some secrets are best kept unknown.

ReplyDeleteI remember when i was like 10 and it was around christmas and i was like "what did you get me" and my mom was like "no" an i sorta found what she for me and bam i started to spy on my mom wrapping my presents and yeah. being a spy would be bada** and i would love too. but, i mean i don't wanna die doing it soooo. plus if i ever was a spy id be a terrible spy. id probably just watch a movie or go eat something and say some false info and id get fired.

ReplyDeleteLike the article said, espionage is the act or spying or using spies to obtain secret information. They are undercover, classified, secret agents that try to do their objective. I, myself, don't have no experience with espionage because it's not me to spy and get information for someone. I would not like to be a spy because it is a dangerous job that is life threatening.

DeleteI think spies are really fascinating. Military espionages are especially interesting because they risk their lives so they can spy on another country. Spies can be either super extensive and wear a wire or they can be something so minor as someone stalking an instagram page. The average instagram page stalker is more common. I don't think i would ever be an espionage because IF you do get caught you can be in deeeeep shit. Not to mention, it's kinda flaw. Like really, it's not your business.

DeleteTo start off with i have never had experience with espionage besides the fact of trying to find out what my brothers doing when he was younger but besides that no.If i became a spy that would be really awesome because i would get to be sneaky and it'd be really fun.So espionage is really cool but life risky so if you do become a spy BE SAFE!

DeleteSpying reveals secrets, which in my opinion isn't right, unless the person themselves wants you to know. (Example: Social Media) Also, I wouldn't say I really have any experience with espionage. I wouldn't want experience either, because there isn't a big purpose and it can be dangerous.

DeleteThe only experience i might have with espionage is hunting. Hunting may be considered as espionage or maybe not, but it does deal with stalking and patience, without being seen. Espionage or spying to me is being stealthy and unseen and hunting is just that. But if hunting isn't considered espionage then i haven't had any real experience with it. I would not want to be a spy, i don't wanna die.

DeleteSpying is our way of getting ahead of other country's in things like war, space programs ect. Me personally I have never done anything even related to espionage. But I think it would be rather cool to be a spy!

ReplyDeleteA spy's job can be very dangerous for the spy. Depending on who they are spying on a spy could be taking some serious risks. Most of the time spies are spying on other countries but they can spy on other people/ things too. For example they could be spying on a organization or company. Spies don't always get away with spying. Some do end up getting caught and often interrogated.

i have never spied before because no one is important enough for me to care what they are doing. I would only spy if i was in the government and got payed to do ninja stuff. But if your not in the government and your just creeping on people then it can weird. you should only spy if you have a reason to. But if your just some board kidding creeping in girls windows then i think you shouldn't spy

ReplyDeleteI think that being a spy would be cool. I do not really know much about Espionage. I know in the wars they used to send a few people to the opposite country's base so that they can know the plan and be two steps ahead. I don't think I have any experience in Espionage. Also, even though being a sky would have its pros I wouldn't want to be one because so many people are out to find and kill you.
ReplyDeletei think being a spy would be harmful to your normal life. i don't what a espionage is i just know it means spy. the reason i think being a spy would be harmful to my normal life is because they could hunt me down and kill me and my family. the only way i would become a spy is if the president was in trouble and he needed my help.
